The PurVIEW plug-in is an incredibly useful tool that superimposes available ArcGIS with geo-referenced imagery to provide a stereoscopic display on your computer desktop. The system effectively reveals any omissions or horizontal and vertical mapping errors. The GIS mapping can then be revised by the user rather than having to bring in external contractors.

PurView works with all standard digital aerial imagery - from scans of traditional aerial camera photography through to satellite imagery.
